Help Amy build her 7th grade science classroom!

Posted by shelby on May 09, 2014

Amy has worked at Rainbow for over a decade, and has been our artisan baker for many years. She will be leaving us this summer to start her career as a 7th grade science teacher. Though we are sad to lose her, we are so proud of her for taking on such a noble profession!

Amy is looking for the following supplies for her new classroom.
If you can help, please give her a call at 601-502-5098.

-Large rugs
-A comfy chair or two
-Science-related books (Grade level is not important- books below grade level up to adult level are needed)
-Science-related magazines (National Geographic, Science, Smithsonian, Scientific American, etc)
-Any books on personal responsibility, growth, and development
-Items that may be used to build projects/things kids can use to be creative (wooden blocks, balls, plastic shapes, old letter or number sets, etc)
-Extra school and office supplies (binders, pencils, paper, clips, etc.)
-Indoor plants
-Cool motivational or science posters
-Examples of our natural world (stones, pelts, bones, things to touch, etc)
-Stickers and other rewards
-Storage bins
-Anything you wish you had in your 7th grade classroom
